Solvent extraction is one of the most widely used extraction methods both domestically and internationally. The commonly used solvent extraction methods mainly include three types: percolation method, extraction method, and reflux method. The commonly used solvents for reflux extraction of resveratrol include methanol, ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, etc. Among them, 60% to 90% ethanol aqueous solution is the most commonly used for reflux extraction of resveratrol from the original plant. Other solvents are rarely used due to low efficiency or relatively high toxicity.
Supercritical CO2 extraction is a process of extracting or separating certain components from a mixture using CO2 fluid in a supercritical state as a solvent. Supercritical CO2 is characterized by stable properties, non toxicity, non polluting the environment, strong permeability and solubility, as well as good transferability and fluidity.
